forge arena is an FPS game that carries the idea of becoming a major esports project. First-person shooter in which teams of five players fight against each other on one of the maps. It somehow reminds CS: GO do not find? The actions in the game look very dynamic, and the equipment and guns are what you need. I would like to note that the skins of the players and the basic aesthetics are more futuristic in appearance than the shooters we are used to.
There are no base buildings or turrets in the game. Only aiming, moving and shooting. The game currently requires Gen-Zero or Ascendance NFT. But the open beta version kicks off later, and the game is expected to be free-to-play once released. I would also like to note that judging by the beta version, the game already looks pretty good.
Tokens and P2E
The Forge Arena has several game tokens, such as: SCRAP, SOUL, BOUNTY, SPARK, which must be used to create weapon parts. Players who collect the required weapon parts will receive a new weapon skin as an NFT item.
Players can receive tokens in different ways. For example, players receive the SCRAP token for playing, SOUL for killing opponents, BOUNTY for missions and special game objectives, and SPARK through loot boxes and special gifts. SPARK tokens are used to create new NFT skins and purchase NFT skins on the in-game marketplace. SPARK can be replaced with GENCOIN, the game control token on the WAX blockchain.
The game launched its first Gen-Zero NFTs back in November 2021. They are all in a count. 1, these NFTs are Founders Tokens. The holders of these tokens receive lifetime rewards, including access to beta versions very first, and the ability to easily create new NFTs and airdrops.
Ascendance Capsules
NFT Ascendance Capsules consists of 11 capsules, each capsule contains two NFT items. Ascendance themed NFT weapon (weapon skin) and tournament icon. Each owner of Gen-zero NFT receives a capsule for free. 111 capsules available during whitelist sale and 3 more during public sale. The Forge Arena team reserves 900 capsules to allocate for promotions and giveaways. NFT weapons have 6000 different varieties, with a 100% chance of getting one of the two legendary skins.
While players can equip a weapon and immediately use it in combat, the Tournament Badge is a ticket to the Ascendance Series Tournament. The prize fund of the tournament will be the amount received from capsule sales and purchases on the marketplace, which, according to probable estimates, could be about a million dollars. The tournament is expected to take place sometime in Q4 2022, including qualifiers where the top teams fly in to face off in individual LAN matches. The team also promises to distribute NFTs during the tournament.
The whitelist sale started on March 2, and the public sale 24 hours after the whitelist. In one hand, you can buy up to 5 capsules. The sale of capsules takes place as a reverse Dutch auction. This means that the capsules increase in price as more are purchased.

First 2500 capsules - $150 WAXP equivalent
Next 2500 capsules - $250 WAXP equivalent
Next 2500 capsules - $350 WAXP equivalent
Last 2500 capsules - $500 WAXP equivalent
