The dog fighting arena is one of the most exciting new features. Players will be able to hone their pilot skills to survive in outer space. Bots will come in waves, and in each wave, enemy pilots will fly different ships. For competitive players, the Arena already has leaderboards so everyone can see who is the best pilot in the community. Before embarking on a space dogfight, it is advisable to read the tutorial.
Ship racing
Racing is another feature coming to Pre-Season Star atlas. Air racing track with a leaderboard, just like in air battles. Pilots will test their maneuvering skills by flying as fast as possible through special gates. Each ship has a different flight mechanic and players will need to get used to and adapt.
Improved Volant Station
The old Volantskaya station remained, but suffered major changes. Now she looks much better and bigger. There are more landing sites and additional acres of land to explore. The old areas are also more polished and improved to provide better interaction.
Multiplayer
Pilots will be able to form a group of eight with their friends. While not all functions are available and it will not be possible to organize joint parties, in addition, players will only be able to call their own ship, and already move with their friends. We are promised more in the future, so this is a good start.
Character and skins
Now the explorers have more options than just Captain Asha. The developers have added three additional characters that can be selected immediately after entering the game. Each character can be equipped with different skins. In the future, NFT skins will be integrated into the game.
How to access Pre-Season R2?
To play in Star atlas R2 players will need a key. Those who had access to the first Showroom received the key automatically. For those who do not have a key, you need to buy an NFT ship on Star Atlas Marketplace and send this ship by mini-game SCORE on a weekly mission.
After receiving the key, the player needs:
