Square Enix and Polygon Announce Crypto Game Symbiogenesis


This week Polygon Labs entered into a partnership with Japanese game developers Square Enix to work together on the new crypto game Symbiogenesis, which is planned to be released this spring this year. The gameplay will be associated with collecting digital items tied to the storyline. The storyline will unfold as the in-game world is explored, and the development of events will depend entirely on the strategic decisions of the player.

In the Symbiogenesis game, items will be sold offline for the first time, and then the developers will allow them to be traded online Polygon. Square Enix are planning a series of campaigns that will step by step introduce potential players to the new project. Polygon talked about his partnership with Square Enix on Twitter mentioning their common project Symbiogenesis.

Recall at the end of July 2022 Square Enix entered into a partnership with Enjin and announced the joint release of the digital collection of Final Fantasy VII. Each product will contain a digital code that will serve as an NFT collectible item code that users will be able to use as early as 2023 on the Efinity network.
