On March 4, 2022, the second season of the arena started Nine Chronicles. As part of the launch of this season, the developers have launched a prize pool of 224 NCG (Nine Chronicles Gold) for those who participate in staking.

The developers have taken into account the feedback from the community, so the second season of the arena will contain various improvements compared to the first season:

• More rewards for NCG players and holders
• Fewer rewards for bots and attackers
• More fair warrior battle for real gamers

Staking reward

A total bounty pool of 224 NCG will provide a competitive rewards system for the top 000 players. The platform announced that this amount has been adjusted to reflect the fact that the third season will be released immediately after the second season, which is scheduled in a month and a half.

Players who use "Monster Collection" get more rewards. This feature allows players to earn basic resources by depositing with NCG. Basically, it is a staking and reward system in Nine Chronicles.

To receive these rewards, players will need to activate the Monster Collection before the end of Season 20, which is scheduled for March 2022, 3. At this point, a snapshot of staking at block 640 will be taken - and players who staked 000 NCG will receive an additional reward of 500%, up to a maximum of 200%.

Hunt for scammers

In the first season, the development team Nine Chronicles received many complaints about bot accounts and dishonest users using the system for profit. After a bit of brainstorming, the team changed the medal system for the second season:

The top 2000 players will receive rewards, while the top 500 players used to be. This will take 75% of the prize fund.

The remaining 25% of the total reward fund will be divided among medal winners. This means that people are not rewarded just for competing. In fact, winning is the way to earn NCG.

The developers, in turn, plan to implement aggressive bot detection methods in order to root out any cunning algorithms impersonating users.
