Prior to the update, players were forced to search for random matches in the private match mode. The process itself was rather clumsy and required an independent search for an opponent. In the new mod, players can choose a deck and easily queue up to find a match that won't affect their official rankings.
Players can be matched with other players who have no more than two ranks, that is, the search is arranged in such a way as not to immediately give a new player a strong player. Casual matches should somehow eventually lead to better deckbuilding in Competitive Ranked Mode, as players have more room to test new ideas, their decks, and different playstyles.
Players will not receive the full set of rewards while playing in normal mode. But they will still be able to earn $Flux, stars and gaming experience.
How can I earn in Gods Unchained?
By playing multiple matches per day, players earn an in-game $Flux token, card packs, and $GODS tokens. Winning or losing, players all get experience points exactly, having received a certain number of points, the player increases his level and receives a set of basic cards as a reward. By combining several Core cards in Forge, you will create a Meteorite card that has NFT value and can be sold on the marketplace.
Players can earn $GODS daily based on the number of wins in their first 10 matches. All players use the same pool of $GODS tokens, which are weighted to give more rewards to higher ranked players.
In addition, every weekend there is a mini-tournament. Players are ranked based on their last 18 matches, earning prizes, including packs from the latest expansion. There is even a chance to win legendary card sets. To receive daily $GODS tokens and participate in weekend tournaments, participation in ranked matches is required. But as a reminder, players can still earn $Flux and XP by playing in normal mode.
