Will NFT Have Lobbyists in Congress?

Recently it became known that Dapper labs have registered with Congress to lobby the interests of the NFT industry with the US government... The Vancouver-based company has joined the list of influential companies in the crypto industry that are speaking in Congress to influence policy, however Dapper labs became the first to include NFT and blockchain in their list of questions to the government.

Dapper labs decided to contact experts in this matter and hired Crossroads Strategies, which, by the way, are engaged in connection with the federal authorities, as well as lawyer cases and consultations on various political issues. District of Columbia firm to act as lobbyist Dapper labs and will raise issues related to NFT and blockchain.

Besides hiring guys from Colombia, Dapper labs also hired Alison Cutler as head of government relations back in November 2021. Cutler is a pretty serious player considering she was formerly the head of the Bureau of Consumer Affairs and was also an advisor to the FCC chairman from June 2015 to April 2017. Dapper labs do not yet disclose details of their intentions, but according to their spokesman Rachel Rogers, the company wants to promote the education and mass adoption of Web3.

With the growing influence of the NFT in the industry, lobbyists are optimistic about future policies. Anyway Dapper labs and all lobbyists, politicians just need to continue to grapple with the implications and understanding of blockchain technology for future new rules that may soon be put forward at the federal level in the United States.
