WeMeta is a tool for tracking analytical data on the metaverse. Having received a grant in February 2022, WeMeta developed Builder Tag and info panel for Decentraland. The data aggregation tool will give developers a better idea of what motivates interaction in their scenes. Scenes, the content you open in your Terrain, are any interactive programs that display content. With a tag WeMeta Builder, available as a smart item in the Decentraland Item Shop, developers can gain insight into how users interact with their scenes through aggregate anonymization of in-game statistics.
Builder Tag is a one-line code snippet that provides quick access to data such as attendance, player activity time, transactions, and other metrics. Access to the analytics panel can be obtained from the website WeMeta with login Auth0 for secure access.
WeMeta was born at the ETH Global hackathon in 2021. After that, the team decided to implement their idea and turned WeMeta into the metaverse's leading company in the NFT space. The company was founded by Nick Brons and Winston Robson.
Evolving from WeMeta 1.0, "Zillow for the Metaverse", based on the belief that analytics in the Metaverse is critical to content creation, WeMeta strives to provide content developers with the best possible insight into their performance.
According to Whiston Robson, one of the toughest real estate issues in the metaverse is valuation. Winston realized that location-based and otherwise speculative analysis determines the value of real estate. He believes that potential investors should check if their property is close to the content that users want to experience.
Dashboard WeMeta, self-described as a platform for transitioning to the Metaverse through data analytics and an accessible user interface, provides the ability to compare Metaverse properties across Metaverses. Some points of comparison are the volume of trades or the number of land sales in any given time period.
Scene Comparison
Though WeMeta and compares the metaverses, some features are only available for Decentraland. For example, the "compare scenes" feature available on the landing page allows users to view a comparison analysis of the best scenes. Decentraland and take into account data such as the average number of online visitors. Users who rely on Builder Tag, can collect data with other details: they can determine which devices are most popular, which areas people use the most, concurrent pedestrian traffic over time, average visit duration, and server power. The Scenes toolbar is also unique to Decentraland.
WeMeta caters to both sides of users - those who need to understand what's most appealing about their scene, and those who want to compare a scene to another. Whether for investment reasons or for fun.
