Splinterlands is a collectible card game with RPG elements on the STEEM and TRON blockchain. The concept is similar to the world famous Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone, where you collect a collection of cards with various abilities and characteristics. One of the most popular applications on STEEM. Also known as Steem Monsters.

In a fresh post from the official account @steemmonsters “Splinterlands Development Update - September 2019” @yabapmatt brought down a whole series of news, which in one way or another are significant for the future of the game.
Only their list will be indicated in this post, and they themselves will be presented practically in a separate post (since they are very diverse - so that later it would be convenient to refer / share to each of them, and not to a common vinaigrette).
Due to the fact that after the day and after discussing with the community of players a number of points on these various changes, the team published additional news (# Update on the Last Update); and we’ll just add a number of points to this list.
So, at a time from the original (English) posts [1] and [2] we learn that:
- The failed Million Monster Madness Tournament will be compensated.
- Pop-up window with a selection of news / information..
- Beta packs can now be bought with DEC!
- Archmage Arius card balance adjusted.
- Splinterlands are now available in Russian!
- Paid starter kits will no longer have real cards
(except for those that are TRON tokens from the SEEDGerminator campaign). - Updated quest potion price and quest rewards reduced
(rewards for the quest decided to leave for now). - Presentation of new awards (Reward) kart!
Well, finally, it’s separately noted (and this is far from news) that
- Beta Packs End!
Um, at the moment there are more than 100 out of the original 000, so the statement “end” is a bit rash.
BUT, to estimate how much excitement can be at the very end of Beta booster packs - you can imagine right now.
