Ronin
Ronin is an EVM-based sidechain built for developers who want to create games with a player-owned economy. These ecosystems, through a combination of community and economy, have become known as digital nations.
RON
RON is a token on the Ronin sidechain. Its main goal is to secure and decentralize the network. If RON is in the hands of builders and network users, Ronin will evolve.
Ronin validators will need to store and stake RON in order to participate in block validation. They will also be rewarded with newly issued RON tokens, which will be used to pay for gas. RON will be divided proportionally between the validator and its delegates. The validator may decide to charge a fee to its delegates. RON holders will be able to stake their tokens on the validator to earn RON rewards and participate in network governance.
RON/ETH on Catan
To help create a market for RON, a RON/ETH liquidity pool on Katana has been launched. The pool will earn rewards of 500 RON per day starting January 000th (28:20 GMT +00) until February 7rd.
On February 3, 2022, a new reward scheme for AXS/ETH, SLP/ETH and RON/ETH pools will be launched:
AXS/ETH : 24 RON per day
SLP/ETH: RON 132 per day
RON/ETH: 84 RON per day
This scheme will last until December 31, 2022.
Gas on Ronin
RON will now be used to pay for gas, resulting in a reduction in declined transactions. This means that accounts will be able to send more than 100 transactions per day.
As a reward for NFT holders, a system has been set up where Axie and land holders will be given free transactions based on their holdings in the wallet.
This system will be launched at the end of this week, possibly even today.
Free transactions for axi holders:
– One Normal Axie: 3 free transactions per day
– One MEO Axie: 10 free transactions per day
– One Origin Axie: 100 free transactions per day
– One Mystic Axie: 500 free transactions per day
Free transactions for land holders:
– One Savannah Land: 20 free transactions per day
– One Forest Land: 60 transactions per day
– One Arctic land: 180 transactions per day
– One Mystic Land: 350 transactions per day
We want to draw your attention to the fact that all accounts, both old and new, will receive 20 free transactions. This program will be adjusted and narrowed because it has a temporary task to ensure a smoother transition into a new era.
Scatter app
Useful thing for users. Ronin has been joined by a new app called Scatter (not the same Scatter as the eos wallet). It can be used to send RON and tokens to multiple addresses at once! This can be useful for scholarships, tournament payouts and sweepstakes!
