Developers Blank block party, gamedev studio Mythical Games announced the creation Mythos Foundation to support new players and developers in their ecosystem. The new fund includes a group of consultants from the blockchain, games and entertainment industry, including the founder Animoca Brands Yat Siu, President Polygon Studios Ryan Wyatt, Product Director 100 Thieves Pete Hawley and others.
The Mythos Foundation will focus on five key development areas, including the internetwork infrastructure, the evolution of NFTs and the gaming economy, support for gaming guilds, expanding traditional esports participation in Web3 and collaboration with traditional gaming platforms, and developing a new policy for gamers. Managing the operations of the Mythos DAO, a newly created decentralized autonomous organization that will give its players a say in the development of their ecosystem.

According to Linden, the first proposal involves splitting the DAO into three subcommittees dealing with game developers, esports, guilds, Web3, and the metaverse. Within these subcommittees, groups such as the game developer Ubisoft, esports group FaZe Clan and venture company brands Animoca, will contribute to the management of the DAO in these areas. Subcommittee members are to be elected through the Mythos DAO by holders of the new $MYTH Governance Token, an ERC-20 token with a total supply of one billion USD.
In addition to the EVM-compatible governance token, Mythical Games I was looking for other ways to make my product work on Ethereum. Last month, Linden stated on CoinDesk TV that the company is building Ethereum compatible chain outside of their native Mythical Chain, which is powered by a fork of the chain EOS.IO.
