Contract upgrades
The developers have updated the contracts and will transfer all Gods Unchained cards to the updated contract, it will save huge gas costs.
Over 5 million cards have been sold and only about 8% of these cards are activated (NFT). According to the developers, to activate all other cards it will require about 1 trillion gas, this is around 100 entire blocks of Ethereum, or 000 full weeks of 3% network usage.
For a positive user experience, they will use a new contract that will allow storing no properties on-chain and 100x boost to the number of NFTs mintable in one transaction.
Thus, the total amount of gas required to represent all 5 million cards will be reduced by 95%.
