Chain developers need VC money for operating expenses and so on, so as not to pour tokens into the market, especially do not forget about vesting, and for this you need to show the dynamics in the development of the ecosystem and one of the effective ways is marketing. All of you, for sure, have seen this infographic with the heading “blockchain ecosystem”, on which dozens, if not hundreds, of incomprehensible applications and services (half of which don't work). Developers of such applications are lured by grants or other goodies, and if everything is set up well, then a network effect is achieved and the ecosystem really begins to grow if the community begins to believe in all this, and the token does not stand still. More about the project
genopets will be distributed free of charge. The game is based on the concept of M2E (“move to earn” - move to earn, literally), implemented on Solana. The essence of this mechanism is that you need to move around in the real world and complete some tasks in the game, for which you will receive rewards.
Players can explore the Genoverse universe, mine resources, craft items, and fight other players with their NFT pet. The game will use your activity data from your smartphone or smartwatch to improve your NFT levels. The awards “found” by honest labor can then be sold on the marketplace.
Habitats are needed so that your creature can be somewhere while you are not playing. Each environment can have 1 pet. Habitats are NFTs that can be purchased or crafted in-game, and are one of the ways P2E is introduced into the game. Environments will passively generate crystals and KI tokens, as well as increase the amount of experience your creature gains.
The entire economy of the game will consist of 4 elements:
- GENE token is the main token of the project, which can also be used for staking;
- KI token - a token that can be obtained for game actions;
- Gene crystals - NFTs created with GENE or KI to improve your NFT creatures;
- XP - roughly speaking, the experience of your NFT. More XP, more NFT level.
A total of 100,000,000 GENE tokens will be issued at a price of 0.8 $BUSD in a public sale. GENE can be used on both the Solana network and the BSC.
closed beta
On January 20, a form will open for those wishing to try out the game in the closed beta. Everyone can try their luck, but there is a priority queue for NFT owners from the initial collection, DNA community members (this is a separate VIP group of project discord server members who were most useful to the game community) and for those who stake GENE.
NFTs are not required to participate in the beta, but owners receive priority in the queue as discussed above. All NFTs from the first collection are already sold out and can only be found on the Fractal marketplace.
The developers remind that the most important part of the beta is to get useful feedback from the interested game community in order to understand in which direction to work before the release, and not to distribute rewards. But for the most useful participants, rewards in GENE tokens are announced.
