FTX bought Good Luck Games, developers of the upcoming card battle game Storybook Brawl. The amount of the deal was not disclosed, but one thing we can say for sure Good Luck Games will be integrated into FTX Gaming.

Founded in 2019 in Washington state, Good Luck Games is led by experienced game designers and former professional Magic: The Gathering and The Elder Scrolls: Legends players.

FTX Gaming is a platform for game developers. The service promotes the “Crypto-as-a-Service” CaaS model and plans to help game designers launch in-game tokens, implement blockchain networks and tokens in their projects.

The company has recruited a team of software engineers with experience coding on the Unity game engine. Employees have two tasks - to develop their own products in the field of GameFi and to help game publishers integrate blockchain technologies into existing projects.

Storybook Brawl

Game Storybook Brawl currently in early access on the Steam platform, is an auto-battle card game with fairy and mythical characters. The game is designed to be reasonably easy to play, with a wide variety of maps giving the player a wide range of strategic options while playing. The mobile version of Storybook Brawl is expected to release this summer.

FTX CEO and co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried said he's known the Good Luck Games team since high school and commented:
