New game at Gala Games | Fortitude

Last update:

Fortified is a new game on board Gala Games. This time in the Tower Defense strategy genre. The game is being developed by the Korean studio skeinglobe (ROUND 2), and Korean games are basically unique, especially in crypto. It is worth remembering EOS Knights and Nine Chronicles at least. Both projects are very different from the market.

Questions to the team

What stage is the game in now?

Alpha is expected to be released soon. Based on the available information, progress in development will be somewhere in the 50-60% by the release of the alpha.

Apart from the Towers that are already sold, can you give us some idea of what types of in-game NFTs will be pre-sold for Fortitude?

First of all, we plan to sell the NFT lands that will be at the heart of the game. The Fortitude ecosystem starts with the purchase or lease of NFT land. I think we will have the opportunity to explain the details to the Gala community. In addition to land, we are discussing with Gala Games which heroes, units and towers we can pre-sale.

Can you talk about some of the games ROUND2 have developed or worked on in the past?

We have been working on Brawl Busters, a fighting game released on PC. In terms of mobile games, we have also worked on a lot of games including Water Margin and Attack on Titan (Tower Defense). Enneas Saga and First Summoner (RPG); and Defense War: Destiny Child (Puzzle Defense). We are proud to bring a variety of high quality games to the market.

How did you first hear about Gala Games?

When you've been in the industry for over 20 years, you hear a lot of stories. With the advent of NFT in recent years, I became aware of Gala Games when many people in the field mentioned a company that was attracting a lot of attention for its most innovative activities. Luckily, my former colleague from Nexon worked at Gala Games and contacted us so we could join this amazing project.

Is there any backstory or knowledge prepared for Fortitude that can be shared at this time?

Do you know a game called Serious Sam? Rumor has it that someone on the development team is scheming to add Serious Sam-related Easter eggs to pay homage to the game.
