Gamedev studio Pixion Games pre-alpha playtest in progress fableborne before starting alpha. Players will be able to provide feedback on the early version of the game, and the playtest kicks off this weekend and consists of two events.
October 8-9. The first event is community and snick pick content. The pre-alpha contains some of the game's main features: Raids, Kiara: Ice Mage Hero, Hawk: Archer Hero, Hero's Basic Attack, Hero's Special Ability, Hero's Ultimate Ability, and Raid Islands. Aimed at getting feedback from players and improving quality.
Content creators can participate in the pre-alpha testing by emailing Pixion Games and mentioning their social media channels. The second event is the first tournament fableborne, Shatterlands Invitational which will reward the best players, guilds and DAOs. The tournament will be held from 15 to 16 October 2022. During the tournament, players will compete with each other and receive rewards. Prize pool of $2500 in Esper coins.
Participants will be able to earn an exclusive reward, the Pre-Alpha Champion Badge, which can be used to enter the NFT sweepstakes. To earn this badge, players must take part in a playtest and complete a pre-alpha survey.
A look at Fableborne
fableborne is an F2P Play-to-Own MMO Action RPG set in the fictional world of Shatterlands. The world of Shatterlands is filled with beauty and danger at the same time, and consists of suspended islands on which players can build bases. Like Clash of Clans, the gameplay is asynchronous, which means players don't compete against each other in real time; instead, it brings players together through competition.
fableborne offers NFT rewards to players in PvE tournaments, which can be purchased with in-game currency. In the game, players must search for large islands and build their bases to defend themselves against the enemy. In addition, you can raid other players' bases for resources in asynchronous PvP battles and upgrade your skills by fighting PvE boss battles.
Gameplay
There are four factions that rule the world of Shatterlands - the United Tribes of Halkalan, the Commonwealth of Industry, the Kingdom of Arandraxis, and the Subjects of Malanwe. All playable characters in the world of Shatterlands are named Echo.
Echo are NFT characters that are unique based on choices, skills and resources invested in them. Choosing the right echo will help players win battles and earn rewards.
Players can upgrade characters to unlock talents, which are additional passive traits including hit points, movement speed, attack speed, and more. In addition, players can use gold and elemental stones earned in battles to upgrade their character.
Echoes come in different rarities: Common, Rare, and Epic. Each echo is unique and players have full ownership of that NFT character. In the game, echoes have a limited number of lives, and they can be revived using the in-game currency.
В fableborne players will have to explore the world of Shatterlands and claim islands that are saturated with rare materials. Players will have to travel from one island to another in search of resources, as not all resources will be available on one island. By gathering resources, players can create a stronger base that will help them fight back against enemies.
The game has a two-stick control scheme and convenient maps. Players can customize and upgrade bases, raid other players' bases in asynchronous battles, and fight in PvP challenges. Players will be able to trade resources including islands, echo characters, and other NFTs. The more you raid bases, the more resources you can collect.
The game begins with the fact that you are in the ruined kingdom of Shatterlands, found yourself on a random island. Players may stumble upon different islands, some of them may be empty and some may be occupied. Bases should be built in such a way that counter-defensive structures can easily evade enemy characters.
The most important structure of the base is the heart of the island, which indicates the life of the island. Players can raid NPC islands where they must complete multiple stages of increasing difficulty and earn rewards by defeating bosses.
Tokenomics
The $FAB game token can be used to purchase or upgrade NFTs, which will include not only Echo, but also other items and islands in the game. They, in turn, can be used in the game, stored for later use, or sold on the marketplace.
fableborne uses token standards:
