Let's start with my favorite story, perhaps, without it, in my opinion, in such cases it is simply impossible to do. 🙂

So, the abbreviation "EK" in the title of the article is the abbreviated name of the game EOS Knights.

Further, “why the third?”, People who don’t really follow, or who haven’t caught the game, will ask. EOS Dynasty. Exactly EOS Dynasty was the second generation of EK. I note here that both games are still alive and playable, the developers are still working on their offspring.

Now about the reasons for the appearance of EOS Dynasty and Crypto Heroes. The main reason is the popularity of the engine, all these games do not take much time and at the same time are quite deep in their strategic part. EK felt great for 6 months from the start, which gave rise to such interest in such games. But, unfortunately, the in-game economy was not given enough attention and the game faced deflation. And as we all know, the main public, at this point in time, in cryptogaming, these are people who want to earn money or traders (and it cannot be otherwise because of the complexity of creating wallets and the scarcity of the capabilities of the games themselves).

Therefore, the inability to earn or earn very little has led to a sharp drop in popularity and interest from new and old players. This is how EOS Dynasty appeared - the Chinese fork of EK, in which the developers introduced new mechanics and mechanisms to support the economy. 

To cut down on the details, let's get down to the basics: EOS Dynasty failed to beat the same deflation that killed EK. Despite numerous tips and comments from users, the developers were afraid or could not make the necessary changes that tightened the game craft. As a result, the game is now going through hard times and most likely the situation will not improve.

Crypto Heroes

Crypto Heroes is the third iteration of EK to find balance in the in-game market. This time the Russian team is engaged in development. They collected a lot of feedback and opinions from the players, as well as the fact that they themselves played both EK and Dynasty themselves, and now they intend to bring to life everything that the Korean and Chinese teams did not dare to. What will come of all this and whether it is still possible to achieve a balance without crossing the fine line between the income and expenses of the players, we will find out in the future. In the meantime, I will talk about the most important differences, the chips that should cure Crypto Heroes from the main ailment of this game genre - deflation, as planned by the developers.

So:

  1. Pet Expeditions that generate tons of stuff out of thin air have been removed. Instead, the number of crystals/water mined in battles increases.
  2. A market control tool has been added that limits the possibility of sharp price dumping.
  3. The crafting system has been changed, now it will become more complex and expensive, this is done in order to prevent excess items on the market.
  4. Alchemy, it will be great if it is introduced immediately from the start. The later it is introduced, the less effective it will be. The Alchemist is a tool that solves the problem of the uselessness of a number of less popular materials.
  5. Seasons are the same seasons as EK, with the only difference that here they will be used not only for competitive purposes, but as the core of the entire system. Actually, perhaps only seasons can become the only solution to the problem of deflation in a similar genre of games. For those who do not know - after each season (approximately 45-60 days, in this case) a full wipe (zeroing) will be performed. Top ladder people will be rewarded. And all the property of the players, with the exception of pets / mounts from the presale, will be destroyed. There will be a mini-presale of pets/mounts before each season. 

What else is known about the game?

CHT token is the internal token of the project, distribution system, purpose and staking is identical to EOS Dynasty. 

The art and visual part looks weaker than previous projects. But again, is this a priority for this kind of game? Rather, this is a game about making money, but visually I want it better, if the idea turns out to be successful, then there is a high probability that it will be redrawn. The interface is similar. Everything looks as simple as possible, on the other hand it is familiar.

redf426: When the Chinese made the EOS Dynasty game, they incorporated the history of the Three Kingdoms era into the game, Sango is a period of time in the ancient China from 220 to 280, included in history like a struggle and confrontation between three various states China - Wei, Wu and Shu. Therefore, the domain of the site was eossanguo.one and the game was also called Three Kingdoms. This is probably the only plus compared to the Korean version. Just a game document. It would probably be cool if in this version of the game the plot revolved around the Three Bogatyrs, for example, and the stages of the game were based on some historical battles : ) but this is so ... a lyrical digression))

In general, ideas for improving the economy and goodies for pre-buyers look sensible with a focus on players and a longer survivability of the project and there is a chance of success.
