Create your own world at Decentraland

Earlier, the developers of Decentraland reported that they are working on a new and easy-to-use designer. They wanted their designer to be understandable to all users, regardless of technical experience, providing the opportunity to create exciting content themselves.

Some time after the release of the constructor, the “creators” contest will begin.

Terms of a tender

The rules of the contest are quite simple:

Start creating!

The number of participants is not limited, but each person can present no more than 20 scenes. КThe instructor is designed to develop static environments, so the word “scene” is used.

It is assumed that the constructor will start at the beginning of March, shortly before the competition, in order to have time to understand the tool. The contest itself is scheduled for March 15.

After the start of the competition, the participants will have two weeks to create unique scenes, they can be funny, crazy, in a word - any! The results will be announced one week after the end of the competition.

Awards

The panel of judges will review each scene that will be presented, those that will meet certain basic standards (the developers promised to clarify exactly what standards they had in mind) will be rewarded with MANA 100 tokens.

50 best works will be deployed within the capital Decentraland - city-Genesis, and their creators will receive both MANA and land.

The top five projects will receive:

first place - 200 MANA;
second place - 150 MANA;
third place - 100 MANA;
fourth place - 50 MANA;
fifth place - 25 MANA.

The remaining 45 creators will receive land and on 7500 MANA.

Constructor

As already mentioned, the designer of Decentraland is built with maximum convenience for the user. It has drag and drop functions (drag-and-drop)by allowing users with or without technical knowledge to give free rein to their imagination.

At your disposal will be more 100 unique 3D-models. In the future, you will be able to import any other three-dimensional models that you will need, but during the competition you will be able to use only those models that come with the designer.

This restriction is imposed for facilitate judges evaluation of creative potential.
