It's already here ... Enjin's Blockchain SDK is officially available in the Unity Asset Store

Last update:

Enjin SDK

Today, the Enjin team released their blockchain SDK for Unity, one of the world's most popular engines, used by about 4,5 million developers.

The Enjin platform is a blockchain PaaS (blockchain project development platform) that allows you to create and manage blockchain games without having extensive knowledge of blockchain programming. A kind of universal platform for developing games using blockchain technology, consisting of Trusted Cloud, Platform API, Wallet Daemon and Blockchain SDK.

The main idea of Enjin can be described with one question:

How to provide tools to the maximum possible number of game developers needed to create a project on the blockchain?

Trusted cloud

The main cloud backend service of the Enjin platform that connects games to the Ethereum blockchain.

Trusted Cloud peculiar hub. He collects requests from players and servers, executes them on Ethereum smart contracts and returns the data back to the player.

He also shoulders the functions of linking game user accounts (for example, SteamID, Xbox Live) with their accounts on the Ethereum network (for example, wallet address).

Platform API

Allows you to request and send commands to the Enjin platform to facilitate game development.

You can interact with Trusted Cloud using the GraphQL based Platform API, which provides you with full integration with the most popular programming languages in the world (for example, Javascript, Ruby, Lua, Python).

Wallet daemon

A tool without which you will have to sign each in-game transaction with the Enjin Wallet.

If you describe Wallet Daemon as simply as possible, you can imagine it as an automated blockchain wallet that allows you to manage large volumes of transactions without having to constantly confirm each new action manually.

Software Development Kits (SDK)

And finally, software development kits designed to save you time and compensate for the lack or shortage of people involved in the graphic component of your games, by providing similar interfaces for development tools.
