3 important news you might have missed

Last update:

For a long time it was not heard about more or less large-scale events and the persons involved in these actions. This week there were just such events that you could miss! Let's start in order.

1. Ubisoft Game Studio enters into a partnership with ULTRA!

And this is not just a loud headline. As part of the partnership, Ubisoft will launch a node for block validation on the ULTRA UOS blockchain. Let me remind you: Incredibly - platform and ecosystem for the distribution of games. A kind of Steam with a social network where players can earn on participating in the development of the ecosystem, create content, chat, download and buy games, and more. A huge set of tools for this is laid.

It is planned that Ubisoft will first connect to the UOS test network before the end of this year, and in case of successful tests it will already connect to the launch of the main network.

2. Mythical Games raised another $ 19 million to the $ 16 million they raised last year

And in their piggy bank they now have $ 35mln. Let me remind you who Mythical Games are. This is a young crypto gaming studio founded by Activision industry veterans John Linden and CCO Jamie Jackson, as well as Rudy Koch (Blizzard senior producer) and CPO Stefano Cunningham (global product management director at Yahoo!). Last year, investments for them came from the Mike Novogratz Foundation - EOS VC Galaxy Digital, with significant contributions from Javelin Venture Partners, as well as DDC, Fenbushi, Noris and OkCoin. Today, investments have come from Avon Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Struck Capital, from the same Javelin Venture Partners and the notorious Hashed, who buy everything in a row on EOS, at about the same speed as Animoca Brands on Ethereum.

By the way, the launch of the Blankos Block Party crypto game has been postponed to the 1 half-year of 2020.

3. Winklevoss brothers buy Nifty Gateway

In May, we had news that the Winklevoss Brothers were interested in buying OpenSea. And they bought the first CryptoPunk # 4530 for the test, and they served as a payment gateway for this. Nifty gateway. As for OpenSea, things did not go further than rumors, but they still bought Nifty.

Nifty Gateway provides a very easy way to buy NFT for fiat with Visa, Mastercard credit cards. And this, frankly, is a very useful solution. Because before that, you could directly buy only cryptocurrency for fiat, but not NFT.

Fun fact: Founders of Nifty Gateway are also twins 🙂

Seconds later, cryptopunk will fall on Tyler’s wallet.

All this is a clear sign that investments in the NFT industry will continue to flow, each time in an increasing volume. What do you think?
